Doodling in Class

Well, as many of you might know (having read my info on the right side of this blog ->) and might not know, I am a Bachelor Graphic Design student with a great love for comics and cartoons and with the hope of becoming a professional comic/cartoon/animation/illustration artist someday...

My studying schedule is a 3-year one, now being on my second, and unlike other studying fields, art and design fields are being taught, marked and examined by projects... This year I got a class named Visual Communication and this period we have to work on a personal project with lots of research which I am not going to talk about right now... maybe in the close future... all I'm saying is that my project's subject is very taboo and inappropriate one! :3

So 'till our Head Professor check what all the others did and waiting for my turn to come I just sat on a corner and took out one of my sketchbooks to practice a bit.... and I have to say that usually I have a major artist's block but in the end I ended up being exhausted...

I have nothing to say about this one... -.- Just ignore the bird up there...

Some pencil rough sketching and then went straight to black marker...

Now, this one kept me occupied for a while! I had done something similar a year ago in a bus during my way to College, but with red markers, it was still a profile but with a very different figure. When I finished this one I was totally panting, and there were a couple of times towards the end that I stopped to take a breath...

I hope you can see her Aries like horns...

Black marker with no use of pencil first...
